Customer retention lift
Behavioral email + AI cart-abandonment + reorder pipeline for a B2B ecommerce platform. Six months from build to measured impact.
Two weeks inside your business. We learn how it actually runs, then hand you a prioritized list of AI plays ranked by ROI.
Senior operators run the AI play alongside your team for 30–90 days. We do the work, you watch every step. Outcomes-based pricing tied to the metric we agreed on day one.
When the play is working, we encode it into a system your team owns and runs without us.
Vendors sell you a tool and leave you to figure out how to use it. Consultants sell you a strategy and leave you to find someone to execute it.
We do the opposite. We sell the work — and every month we run it, the system gets sharper.
I've spent the last decade running and shipping things — most recently Catalist, a B2B platform where I built the AI ops, support, and procurement systems that now run the business. I've watched cash, hired and fired, taken the call from the angry customer.
I started Tenva because every AI consultant I met sold decks, and every AI agency I tried sent juniors. Neither shipped. SMB operators deserve a third option — operators who've actually shipped, working alongside them for 90 days, then handing them a system they own.
If you've tried two AI tools and a fractional CTO and still don't have anything in production, you're our buyer.
The big guys won the internet. They won't win AI.
The cost of intelligence is approaching zero. A 12-person SMB can now build the same caliber of software as a 1,200-person enterprise.
Most won't. They'll buy AI-washed SaaS that returns generic slop. They'll hire fractional CTOs who ship decks. They'll watch their competitors quietly compound.
You don't have to.
— Tenva / NYC / 2026
We're an inaugural firm — but the work isn't a first try. Below, three numbers from the operator's prior shipping receipts. Real production systems. Real metrics. Real businesses.
Behavioral email + AI cart-abandonment + reorder pipeline for a B2B ecommerce platform. Six months from build to measured impact.
AI ops automation across supplier comms, PO generation, and inventory reconciliation. Replaced two FTE-equivalents of repetitive work.
From first audit call to a live AI customer support agent triaging real Gmail tickets. Built on the founder's own customer service stack.
Numbers above are from prior work by Tenva's founding operator. Tenva, the firm, is currently booking its first cohort. Inaugural clients receive discounted setup and co-published case study rights.
The founder is on every engagement, period. We don't have juniors learning on your dime. When we scale a project, we bring in vetted senior operators per domain — never warm bodies.
Setup fee is refunded in full if we can't agree on a playbook by week 2 of the audit. Run retainer is cancellable any month after month two. We're not in the lock-in business.
A fractional CTO writes strategy and manages vendors. We run the work. We sit in your Slack, we write the prompts, we ship the production system. By month three, you have something live — not a roadmap.
Your data stays in your stack. We use your accounts, your databases, your tools. We don't pool data across clients. We don't train models on your information. Standard NDA at engagement start.
The whole model assumes that. We embed senior operators with your team to bridge the gap, and we encode the system in plain English so the people who run it day-to-day can understand and modify it without us.
That's the optional retainer. Some clients want the hand-off; others want us running the play indefinitely while their team focuses elsewhere. Both are fine. The system is yours either way.
Tell us what you're trying to ship. If we're a fit, we'll have a 30-minute call inside the week and a written audit proposal within five business days.
